Pick up car: 18:00 from Sixt Rent A Car Car Rental
Pete had to stand for one hour to get through Immigration (The USA welcomes you!) but eventually we met up and took the bus to the Sixt Car Rental.

Pete had to stand for one hour to get through Immigration (The USA welcomes you!) but eventually we met up and took the bus to the Sixt Car Rental.
It being an "odd" day, Pete was the designated driver.
We drove just under an hour to Lakeland and managed to find rooms in the 4th hotel we tried. luckily very close to an Applebee's Bar and Grill so we decided to try both of them.
The Bud Light was like water but the Yuengling wasn't bad. It was happy night so if you ordered a beer she brought two. At first I thought maybe she couldn't understand my accent.
Pete was slightly miffed that the waitress didn't check our IDs, probably cos Doug just looks so middle-aged.
Anyway 8 beers and an appetizer plate of deep-fried stuff cost us $32!
For reference 2 us beers == 1 european beer, 3 bud lites == 1 glass of european water.
